David Heilman Hi, Meet my trusty scout "Tigger" yep, just like the cartoon character he is orange and black and loves to bounce. He is not always with me when I photograph but I seem to have the best results when he is. I started to make images of the world around me as an adolescent while growing up on the family dairy farm in Door County WI. After school I tried a few fields of employment but the call of the camera was always strong. Finally I started a portrait studio which I enjoyed for over 20 years. Now at the advanced age of "I really am tired of the daily grind" I have made the decision to return to my photographic roots. I hope you enjoy this site as I slowly build it and I want to thank my lovely bride Barb for giving me this opportunity.
